PINOVA Capital has acquired a majority stake in leading AI-based response management software provider Sematell. The parties have agreed not to disclose the sale price or other terms of the transaction.
Sematell is developing from a small, specialized software provider into one of the leading solutions in the field of response management through contact center software in the DACH region. Well-known customers such as Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone, bonprix and smava/FINANZCHECK.de have relied on Sematell’s solution for many years when it comes to responding quickly and accurately to written customer service inquiries via a wide range of communication channels such as e-mail, chat or social media. PINOVA is convinced that, together with Sematell, it will be able to tap into further growth potential in Europe and beyond in the future.
