ARDIAN Ardian is a globally active, diversified investment firm operating in the private capital markets. It manages assets worth US$200 billion across Europe, North and South America, Asia and the Middle East. Ardian has acquired a majority stake in Munich Electrification from the company’s founders.
Munich Electrification specialises in developing state-of-the-art battery management systems, control and sensing components, and an advanced software framework. The Munich-based company was founded in 2014 and currently employs around 300 people.
In partnership with ARDIAN, Munich Electrification intends to drive further growth by diversifying across market segments and expanding into new geographies.
