LIFTKET is an internationally renowned manufacturer of electric chain hoists with lifting capacities up to 25,000 kg. The company currently employs 250 people at its headquarters in Wurzen, Saxony. The company was founded in 1948 and has been successful with its products on the market ever since. In recent years, under the ownership of Afinum, the company has developed from a national hidden champion to the global market leader for lifting and motion control systems for mission-critical environments in the entertainment, renewable energy and industrial sectors.
Following a successful acquisition in 2016 by Afinum, Ardian has acquired a majority stake in LIFTKET to help the company execute its growth strategy. Afinum will continue to support as a minority investor.
